I founded Baru Designs as a way to stay connected to my roots. I was born in Colombia, and although I now live in New York City, the spirit of my parents’ home on the vibrant island of Baru, Cartagena is always with me. What began as a desire to bring the artistry of Colombian craft into my own home has grown into a brand I’m proud to share with you.
